Things I now see almost every day and pretty much take for granted that fascinated me when I first moved here:

Grouse Mountain looking pretty today after yesterday's snow.

Mole Hills.

Tunnelling mounds of the Coast Mole, common in wet lawns and source of consternation in lawn lovers.

Beware the mundane! When I went to Africa, I was told to take first impression pictures ... before images became ordinary! Don't let it happen ... keep them there eyes peeled!

Hmmm moles ... indication of a good earth worm supply ... the moles help to aerate the soil ... what could be better for lawns? Of course, the moles can get a little piggy where worms are concerned.
