Thermally challenged.

The garage roof is frosty; alarm bells ring. Our car has one too. After we drive along for a few minutes the dashboard goes BING! and an orange snowflake appears. Then we know for sure it's cold.

Although the air temperature eventually rises a few degrees above freezing, the low sun has little influence on a frozen pond. The mallards are not happy.

Cattails in the afternoon light. Maybe a warm colour, but it's cold, really.

Seed heads against a winter sky. Go home and plug in the kettle.

I was even wearing gloves! Brrrrr. I guess I'll have to get one of those cozy hats.
