Herpetological finds at Daiso, Aberdeen Centre

Sometimes when you are least expecting it a piece of art will call out to you like a baby bird fallen from its nest. This happened to me at Daiso, the dollar store in Aberdeen Centre.

Piece One: Exhausted Large-headed Small Frogs on Slimy Rock.

Piece Two: Friendly Chelonian with Truffle Carapace (asymmetrical version).

Both pieces photographed on plastic lid of children's sand box under natural light.

Compelling art -- particularly the megacephalic anurans...
Now you need a lizard to complete your collection!

Yes! I am always on the lookout for lizard art. Unfortunately none at Daiso this time.
