White-washed log.

It is one of those rare sunny days within a seemingly endless string of grey weather when people dare step outside and blink at the sky. I rode my bike to the park, where a double-crested cormorant has taken up residence on a log in the little pond. He has done his best to make that log his own. Well done, bird.

Tomorrow, back to the rain. Send Vitamin D.

Ha, ha, ha.

We were out soaking up some vitamin D ourselves today ... supplemented, of course, by our daily dose of Arctic Cod Liver Oil. Off with you, to the health food store to pick up your own supply ... too expensive to send ... sorry.

P.S. ... Today I've been nominated for a "You Make me Smile" award and am passing it on to you ... cuz you often make me smile. Sometimes I even read your remarks to D so he can have a chuckle too. You don't have to do anything with the award ... I don't usually.

Oh, I'm not passing the award on until TOMORROW, Saturday!
