Nice weather if you're a snail.

Cepaea nemoralis going for a spin on the day lilies.

It's a wet, dreary day, a continuation of a cool, clammy spring, but...oh please let it be true... they're predicting sun and temperatures in the high twenties (Celsius) starting Thursday.

We are having the same weather here in Portland, OR...I want and my veggies want warm weather...and I hear the next 4 days will be 80+...I would settle for 70 and sunny...

Hello. I found my way to your blog from Blotanical. This post immediately made me think that you are located somewhere near by. We're in Seattle and like you are eagerly awaiting those high temps and sunshine that they say are heading our way--oh please let it be true! We moved here 4 yrs ago from the Midwest and are just now getting used to all tho slugs and snails--as a French professor I strongly believe that snails belong on a plate smothered in garlic butter sauce and not running rampant in my garden. Much enjoyed visiting your garden today.

We are having snail weather here right now. Later there will be storms and even snails won't like it.

Yes Jean Ann and Curmudgeon, I think we're all subject to the same crazy northwest weather. Great for snails (but also good for gardening).

Aunt Debbi, I know the spring weather your area can get. I hope nothing nasty comes your way.
