Perseverance

This is the sort of thing one learns to expect from bindweed, aka morning glory--pushing its way through a crack in the fence in an attempt to strangle my Fuchsia,

but this was not expected. A pretty little Potentilla pushing its way up between the pavers. It somehow self-seeded from elsewhere in the garden.

I have to reset that part of that patio anyway. Hopefully I can transplant this adventurer to somewhere more appropriate.

Fun with yesterday's Barn Swallows.

(Those strong lines cried out for the paint bucket.)

Weeds are quite persistent in their attempt to take over or seed themselves in unlikely places.

I must have pulled 300 tiny little wild morning glories yesterday. They are persistent. New seedlings show up in my garden almost everytime it rains. Love what you did with the barn swallow picture.
