Glum? Gloom!

Today, January 19, 2009, is, apparently, the most depressing day in history.

Nonsense! Nothing a stroll in the park won't set right.

Garden City Park, 11 AM PST, 19.01.09, The Most Depressing Day in History.

I'm going back to bed.

Oh well, back to bed with a good book, right? Not too depressing here, I'm happy to report - sun out, MLKJr's bday to celebrate, hopeful day tomorrow with the inauguration. You can't begrudge us this, it's been a long and depressing 8 years!

Nice picture. And sad at the same time.

It's time to visit the world of other bloggers who live in sunnier and drier places.

Perhaps you saw gloom, but the picture you posted is absolutely gorgeous! Spring is coming - hang in there!

That image is quite beautiful, in a gloomy, gray kind of way. Sure hope things get brighter and the weather a bit cheerier, soonest.

Foggy days are excellent for sleeping.
