Love that negative tilt.

The weather person says there's a "negatively tilted ridge aloft," which means we're in for a long spell of blue skies. Ya-hoo. I escaped to the trails among the blueberry fields,

and found the bushes to be in full flower. This is high-bush blueberry, Vaccinium corymbosum--delicious, and invasive.

From a distance, the fields look positively frothy. They should be buzzing with bees for the next little while. Apparently local bee colonies are doing well this year too, so by August, most of what is white in these pictures should be blue.
Tilt on, ridge.
