What stops people today.

I have a pair of Santolina shrubs in the garden. They are at a particularly attractive stage now--with the flower heads not yet fully open. I believe they are at a particularly attractive stage because passersby stop and point at them.

This past winter, the winter of the great snow, these shrubs were flattened to the point where I thought they might not recover. But they've come along well, and are loving the sunshine and relatively high temperatures (low-mid 20s).

Sounds like a great plant to have.

Well worth stopping for and pointing at, I'd say.
