Frozen maw.

Here is an image I meant to include in the previous post. Can you guess what it is?

As it has done before, my camera decided to switch the orientation of the image from landscape to portrait, in which it remained even after re-rotation using Photoshop and other programs. It doesn't work as well oriented vertically, so I omitted it. Finally, duh, I figured out how to rotate the image within the camera.

Your labels, "frost, furniture" ought to give it all away, but I still don't know. It's some sort of fabric, and the two nap orientations remind me of a roof above a wall. Dang it, you'll tell in the end, won't you?

i'm thinking garden table?
(was thinking deck flooring, but then i too noticed the word "furniture" part)

regardless, it's a very pretty shot, the shadow is so soft.

Thanks for the guesses. All are reasonable, but the closest was from kompoStella. It's the edges of two planks on a park bench.

Looks like it's ready to eat a snowball! How annoying about the photo orientation. Wonder why it keeps doing that?
