There were no birds at the park this morning. Apparently I didn't receive the memo. I hung around awhile, feeling slightly hurt. Then I noticed the sparkliness of water drops on branchlets and needles.
This one should be enlarged. Bejewelled birch branchlets.

Magical. I get lovely glowing drops like this on my Japanese Maple some time, but can't seem to capture it well in a photo.
