Angry sky.

Yesterday changed from warm and sunny to cool, rainy and windy over a period of about twenty minutes, just after the kids returned from school. The sky turned interesting.

Skies here rarely put on a show; it clouds over, it rains, the clouds drift away. We don't get the violent thunder storms characteristic of mid-continent, fueled by heated land and collisions of airmasses from north and south.

So a sky like this is worth a picture, or at least a look.

I agree. What a weird day! We had the same weather. Crazy winds too. Love that photo. Do you ever read Cliff Mass's weather blog? He is kind of the weather guru down here. I think a lot of what he shows might apply to you north of the border folks. http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/
