Annual perennial photos.

Every year I take pictures of:

A bee messing up the pollen in a poppy.

The popped sepals of same.

A magnificent purple iris.

And then another.

Coming soon, inevitably: Pink poppies!

I killed my mimulus last summer, and my poinsettia didn't bloom this past winter. I'm going through annual perennial photo withdrawal.

That is a stunning iris!

On my monitor it looks deep blue.
Is it really deep blue?
Would you consider dividing it and trading for something?
:)

Eskarina, It's dark purple. It's probably due to be divided this year, so you can have some.

I do the same thing. I take the same pictures, over and over, of those exact same plants. Hard to resist, since those are some of the showier flowers on offer this time of year.
