Blue skies, barn swallows.

July sky. Broods of Barn Swallows are fledging, perching on the wires, watching, waiting, signalling to mom (or dad), perpetually hungry.

The next step will be to learn to take food from a parent in flight. That's fun to watch--kissing on the wing.

Nice photos- it's always nice when swallows are courteous enough to stand still for a moment or two and let me take their picture!
