Alone in a crowd. In a pond.

Here's an odd duck among a messy flock of mallards. My guess is female or juvenile American Wigeon X white domestic hybrid. She(?) was quite belligerent toward one or two particular mallards, and vocal, with a sharp, hoarse voice.

Any other suggestions?

We saw a domestic duck X with ?? mallard at the lake the other day, bigger than the flockmates and with such a bigger, more goose-y voice. Wonder if they have to be tough to be the only one who looks different? That head does look very wigeon-y.
