Drab. (But cute!)

If you've ever seen a Scarlet Tanager in a leafed-out tree, well, this is sort of the reverse, a Bushtit in a flowering cherry.

You can tell she's a female by the pale iris.  Males have dark eyes.

based on your post title then a glance at a gray bird, I thought "bushtit?" 'Cause SO "plain" and SO SO cute! Love those birds and how flocky they get. =)

They are cute indeed, and in the winter, very flocky. Love that word, "flocky."

And a flock of them sounds like little tinkling bells as they move through the foliage....
