Hold still!

On this dark, rainy day, came the third record, as kept by me, of a Lincoln's Sparrow in the backyard.  They are small, usually solitary sparrows, who mouse around on the ground, pecking at food bits with  uncanny timing--matching pecks with the clicking of a camera shutter.
Please! Stop moving your head!

Finally, 17 shots later. Not great, but good enough.

I'm always amazed when I hear a sweet bird song and look up in the tree and it's "just" a little sparrow singing its heart out. Sweet.
