Eating crow?

A Cooper's Hawk (I think) flew low and slowly over the Terra Nova sharing garden, passing out of sight in an up-swoop, as if about to land.  I found him at the edge of the forest, his back to me.

He was eating a nestling. Crow?

I watched him tear at it for a while, hoping he would provide me a shot other than the underside of his tail (Cooper's Hawks have white bloomers, by the way).

This was the best I could get without annoying the bird too much.
