Tiny, feisty.

A young chickadee landed at the birdbath, and was almost instantly set upon

by an adult white-crowned sparrow.

Chickadee escaped into the middle of the bath, but instead of fleeing,

turned around and gave the sparrow a terrific scolding.  Properly shamed, the sparrow flew away.

Toughie.

WOW. That's AWESOME. The power of following my dad's advice, as I'd trundle off to school: "Don't take any" oh, let's say, "crap!" =)

Awesome!! I've never seen a baby chickadee, (s)he's darling! Ours seem to have disappeared for the chick season. Great story...
