Quality birdbath.

Today the quality granite birdbath with the built-in sculpture attracted a new visitor, a female Anna's Hummingbird.

Actually, for all I know she has been visiting for weeks or months.  I don't spend a lot of time staring out that particular window.

I just try to keep the birdbath clean and full, and hope that quality birds are enjoying it.

In action.

I love it! I haven't tried to photograph hummingbirds often, but when I have I've only scared them away.

How adorable, so glad you were able to photograph the hummer in the birdbath.

How heavenly. SO CHARMING, that little creature, observable only because you got nice shots of this usually-a-blur bird. Perchance you'll gaze out that window more often? =) When she's up to her hips, her wings look SO CUTE and unlike any other view I've had of a hummer. Sweet. I should do the same (set up a bird bath, not splash in one). Thanks!

I say old chap, quality attracts quality. One simply doesn't want house sparrows stealing the silver or getting dust on the wainscoting. Ra-ther!

You take some great nature photos and these are no exception! What a wonderful behavior captured for us to enjoy!
