Pretty bird, wrong lens.

Oh dear.  I had the 18-55mm lens on the camera to take pictures of mountain scenery.  We pulled into a rest stop, and look who was at the top of a pine.

 Much cropped.

A heckuva bright Western Tanager.

If I google 'bad bird photos' will I get a list of some of your posts? I think I'll try it and see!! Hope you are having a great weekend, despite your missing lens. Bring them ALL next time! ~karen

My spark bird! From back when I was only visiting its range. Now I've seen them in my yard.

Karen, I think they're all there on the "bad bird photos" label. Four or five years of un-magic. I only have two lenses and they are with me at all times but mostly not in the right place. Oh well. It was much fun anyway.

Murr, I will now think of it as the Murr-spark Bird, and tell people that's what it is. It fits.
